We are so proud of Drew.  He remains humble while expressing great strength

admire and imitate. He is willing to work hard. He is a team player.

He uses Confidence without arrogance. It is an attractive quality. He works on his Mental Game

and knows how important it is to his success.

He loves basketball and has fun when he plays. This is what we teach all the athletes

working with us. It is a game! It is meant to be fun. And, best of all, if you are having

fun you are playing from love-not fear!

Congratulations to Andrew Goudelock! Drew proved that he is definitely one of the country’s top 3-point shooters Thursday at Hofheinz Pavillion, winning the Men’s 3-Point Shooting Championship and then capturing a shootout against the women’s champion. Drew, a 6-2 senior, scored 21 points to beat Chris Warren of Mississippi for the title, then won a 16-15 squeaker over women’s champion Cerie Mosgrove of Massachusetts as a bonus. Drew was high scorer in all three rounds hitting all five shots from the final rack to beat Warren. (from the Post and Courier)

“This was the ultimate fun,” Drew said after the competition. True to his Mental Toughness Training, Drew said he stayed focused and used his confidence!
Here at Peak Performance Training we couldn’t be prouder of Drew. We are so happy for him. He enjoys working on his Mental Training and his results show the benefits of all that work.
You, too, can achieve your dreams with Peak Performance Mental Training.

Basketball fans around the country are following their favorite teams and even some not so favorite. Who will rise to the top? Which teams will make it to the Big Dance? Even if you aren’t an ardent fan during the regular season it is hard to resist the lure of March Madness.

The College of Charleston advanced to the quarterfinals last night with a win over UNC Greensboro. Dustin Scott is a senior on the team and a fine young man. He has a heart of gold. I still remember how he made a last second basket to win against Temple in one of his first games playing for The College of Charleston. He was quoted after the game, “Seeing that smile on Coach Cremin’s face made me so happy!”

It isn’t unusual for Dustin to think outside of himself. He cares about his teammates and his family, and it shows.  Dustin is just one of many players you will be seeing play this month who is so much more than the game he loves to play! So enjoy the madness! Embrace it! It is a game and it is fun!
Who are you cheering for?

The Clock is winding down. "Can this really be my last home game?"

The Clock is winding down. "Can this really be my last home game?"

We had an awesome weekend with the College of Charleston Men’s Basketball Team. It was Senior night at the game on Saturday. Jermaine Johnson, Marcus Hammond and Dustin Scott gave inspiring performances in their last game at Carolina Arena in Charleston, SC. Tears were shed in abundance as the clock ran down on a victory for the graduating seniors. The team with Head Coach Bobby Cremins finished the regular season with a 23-7 record.

Here are some photos from the night! Can you see the joy in their eyes?
And maybe some sadness, too? We’ll miss you guys!

Comments!

We thought you’d enjoy reading some of the comments we have received. Feel free to post your comment. We’d love to hear from you!

Jessa writes:

“I recently read, “Yes, God speaks to women too!” and was greatly inspired by the book! Linda LeClaire does such a wonderful job of clearly depicting our bodies as energy systems with important needs that are up to us to fulfill. Since reading this book I have achieved a greater understanding of how deeply connected our thoughts and minds are to our physical bodies and how powerful this connection is in fulfilling purpose and potential in our lives.  The new awareness I have gained has greatly increased my ability to realize my goals.  I thoroughly look forward to reading “The Confidence Factor.”

Andy writes:

“From ‘The Courtside Coach’, I regularly use Dr. Young’s tips: “Replace the Bad – Replay the Good,” “What You Visualize, You CAN Realize,” “Down the Middle Solves the Riddle,” are three examples.  Challenge yourself to tune in to the work of Dr. Young and Linda LeClaire.  Contact them and get on their schedule.  You’ll thank yourself forever!”

 April writes:

“Linda has been an inspiration! I read her book and reread a chapter each time before I play a tennis match. The end result is I’m playing my best tennis YET, but more importantly, I’m enjoying competition for the first time,,,,,,I HAVE CONFIDENCE!!!!”

Thank you Jessa, Andy and April for your kind and generous words!
